    Staying in shape and not losing the strength you have gained in the gym can be though at times, when you're traveling on a holiday or for work.

    Being out of the gym as little as two weeks can have quite a big impact on your strength and fitness levels. The longer you stay away from your training the more you will be saying bye-bye to everything you have achieved. Don't get disheartened by this though, all you have to do is keep on top of things and find 10 - 15 minutes a day or even every other day for a quick workout.

    You might be thinking: ” but I don't have time to find a gym for a 15 minute workout, when travelling for work!” or spending an hour in a gym on your holiday and hide away from so much need sun is not what you were intending. And that's alright, to stay in shape and keep up your strength you don't need to be in a gym and lift weights every other day for hours. All you need to do is stay active on your holiday or work trip.

    Great way to do this is to ask your personal trainer to put together a quick 10-15 minute body weight workout, that you can take with you no matter where you go, this will take away the headache of trying to plan when and how to find time for an hour gym session while your away.

    For those of you who don't have access to a personal trainer, check out the quick workout below. It's all body weight and you can do this anywhere - hotel room in the mornings or evenings, on the beach while topping up on your tan etc.

    This workout should take you around 15 minutes to complete. To make it more fun you can add extra 5 reps or 30 seconds to each set [ where applies ] every day just to have a bit of a challenge to work with.

    2 Rounds / 30 sec rest between rounds

    1. Air Squat x 30
    2. Tricep Dip x 20
    3. Backwards Lunge x 20 each leg

    2 Rounds / 30 sec rest between rounds

    1. Jumping Jacks 1 Min
    2. Mountain Climbers 1 Min
    3. Plank 1 Min

    2 Rounds / 30 sec rest between rounds

    1. Push Up x 15
    2. V - Ups x 30
    3. Burpees x 10
